Thrasher and Spitfire team up for ‘Trash & Burn Tour ’17’ from June 1st – June 14th with stops in Milan, Zurich, Stuttgart & Prague. Two of the stops will include one at Brunau Skatepark @ 5pm and the other at Stuttpark @ 6pm. Riders will be Ishod Wair, Louie Lopez, Raven Tershy, Zion Wright, Raney Beres, Grant Taylor, Daan Van Der Linden, Oskar Rozenberg, Evan Smith, Cory Kennedy, Chris Pfanner, Kyle Walker & Frank Gerwer.

2pm – San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Festival artists will present a short scene from their upcoming Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet, followed by a participatory Playshop activity for kids.
3pm – The Hiwatters. Keeping the swing of classic surf music alive for all ages!
With DJ Dan spinning reggae tunes from his collection of old and rare singles from Jamaica.

The San Francisco Skate Club had a successful outing with their second ‘Push It Forward’ event, on a slightly brisk, but bright Sunday spring in the city. For those who didn’t have a chance to attend, here are the three short films that were played with the showcase with the mentors (Sam Chao, Michael Cheatum, Big Pauly Films) giving the sf skate club attendees at voice for their vision.
This saturday, March 18th 1:00pm over at the Old Kan Beer & Co (95 Linden St #11, Oakland, CA) there will be a conversation about skateparks in the Oakland Area. Jerry and Dandy have held it down in Berkeley for many years, and have collaborated with Real skateboards for the 510 X REAL ‘Home Is Where The Heart Is’ capsule. To celebrate this Saturday 3/11 (from 2-4pm) at Town Park in Oakland (1651 Adeline St), the likes of Peter Ramondetta, Zion Wright, Jack Olson, Jafin Garvey and the 510 team will be there, followed by a Gabe Morford Photo show @ 510 from 5-7pm w/ free Pizza and Beer (for those who are of age) [Decks, Shirts and Grip will be available at the shop afterward at the Gabe Morford photo show at the 510 Shop.]
The latest release for TWS’ ‘Riddles In Mathematics’ came a few days ago with the many of the stars of the film Ben Gore, Bobby DeKyzer, Yaje Popson, Leo Valis, Bobby Worrest and many others coming out to celebrate the release and to see living legend Ray Barbee recieve the TWS legends award.
